The Olympic Committee of Slovenia held a workshop with representatives of sports federations on 30th of September. The event focused on celebrating and encouraging female athletes and the importance of increasing the representation of women in the leadership of sports organizations.
The aim of the event was to highlight the key challenges faced by women in sports, exchange good practices and, through structured reflection, offer concrete proposals for improving the representation of women in leadership positions.
The event brought together recognized experts and experienced leaders from the world of sports, who shared their knowledge and experiences and enabled active participation of those present.
The event was open to a wide audience, and was especially intended for active and former female athletes, sports workers and sports federations.
The experts who spoke at the workshop were Dr. Marta Bon, Dr. Tanja Kajtna and Špela Hus, on the topic “Path to the guide: challenges and opportunities of women in sports”, who later led the practical part of the workshop “Structured thinking 6 steps for more women in the leadership of sports organizations”
This event represents an important step in strengthening the role of women in sports and contributes to achieving a greater share of female leadership in sports institutions and organizations.
